microUSB for Arduino

Finally,Arduino had MicroUSB!

How to build

  1. Connect microUSB connector.

    Cut off the bump on the connector.
    microUSB
  2. Remove the solder on the Arduino board side using the soldering iron (30W or above) and the solder wick.
  • If you can remove  the solder like this picture,it is OK.
  • Press the PCB strongly to the terminal of the connector.

  • If that clearance is like this picture ,it is OK,
  • Do soldering somewhat larger quantity.
    Add the heat more than 5 seconds and pour the solder.

  • Completion.
  • All are recognized properly.
  • Now, you don’t need the big USB cable!
