Onboard is the simplest self-custody asset to use for everyone. If you're looking for a wallet where you can completely own your assets and take control of your finances without relying on any middlemen, Onboard is the right choice for you

A self-custody wallet gives you complete control over your assets, with no middlemen. Popular self custody wallets include Trust Wallet and Metamask. On the other hand, if you use a centralized exchange like Coinbase, you’ll be using a wallet controlled by a 3rd party, where your assets are at the discretion of how the exchange chooses to use them.

Yes, you can use the Onboard Wallet anywhere.

Currently, Onboard supports the Nigerian currency (Naira) and two payment methods: bank transfers and mobile wallets. Additional currencies and payment methods will be added in the coming weeks.

Onboard currently lets you swap Binance Smart Chain tokens BNB, USDT, BUSD, and USDC to your local currency. We are currently working on allowing you swap to your local currency from any popular token in the coming weeks.

To ensure a safe and secure platform, we verify the identity of every user. The verification process typically takes less than 24 hours. We will contact you if there are any issues with your verification. If you experience significant delays with your verification, please contact us at support@onboard.xyz for assistance.

We help secure your wallet through private key management and multi-factor authentication.

You can move digital assets from your Onboard wallet to another wallet without transaction limits. But when exchanging from digital assets to local currencies, there are limits:
  • Maximum amount for a single transaction: 2,000 USD
  • Maximum amount per day: 6,000 USD

If you encounter a problem with your transaction, you can report it by clicking on the "report" button. This will create a dispute chat that includes you, the counterparty, and an Onboard customer support agent. Please provide any evidence you have to support your concern with the transaction, so that the dispute can be resolved as quickly as possible.
